Kunstnernes Efterårsudstilling was established in 1900 as an alternative to Charlottenborg’s Spring Exhibition that only accepted works from students at the Art Academy. Since then KE has existed as a democratic venue and introduction to the professional art world. At KE everyone has the opportunity to apply for participation independent of your network or background.
The jury this year consists of the artists Maja Malou Lyse, Ida Sønder Thorhauge, Ida Kvetny, Katrine Dirckinck-Holmfeld and Susan Hinnum. They have put together an exhibiton spanning a wide range of media such as painting, sculpture, photography, video, performance and installation, and including artists of all kinds, ages and backgrounds.
