Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art initiates Outdoor-Experiments, a 4-year art, architecture and performance project, which investigates Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art’s physical placement and significance as a culture institution in and for its local environment. The intention with the project is to explore and experiment with the interaction between the culture institution and the citizens in the public space, thereby breaking the building’s architectural boundaries between indoor and outdoor. Outdoor-Experiments wishes to involve a series of artists and architects who each get the possibility to experiment with J. F. Willumsen’s building, the architecture and the square in front of Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art, plus the 8 roads leading to the building / LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR FORMER PROJECTS
