We offer permanent guided tours in the current exhibition and which also focus on the unique architecture of the house. Furthermore we arrange VIP-guided tours for our members, who have the possibility to book special arrangements with a member of our communication team or with artists, whereas The Eye Opener is a permanent free offer for all visitors in the weekends.

GUIDED TOURS IN THE CURRENT EXHIBITION AND THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE HOUSE
Visit Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art and have a guided tour in the current exhibition. Learn more about the thoughts and the history behind the characteristic building, which is designed by the artist J.F. Willumsen and built in 1898. The guided tours can be tailored to the interests of different target groups or to special areas of interest.

MEMBERS' VIP-TOUR
Members of Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art are offered an exclusive VIP-tour in each of the 8 yearly exhibitions. One person from our communication team will give a guided tour and give insight into the exhibition’s subject matters and individual artworks. This is a special event for our members who hereby get the opportunity to gain insight into the many aspects existing in front and behind the exhibition scene before the exhibition opens.

EYE OPENER
Open your eyes to art! The Eye Opener is a free opportunity for all our visitors on Sundays, a 10-20 minutes introduction to the current exhibition. The purpose is to offer the visitors one or more possible entrances to further immersion in the exhibition. The Eye Opener can be an overall introduction to the exhibition’s subject matter, the curator’s thoughts about the exhibition, or it can unfold a specific historical threat. It can also be an Eye Opener that takes an analytical or thematic starting point in one artwork and thereby embracing the exhibition by alternative routes. The Eye Opener is in Danish.
DURATION: 10-20 minutes
TIME: Sundays at 2 pm.

SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR COMPANIES AND PRIVATE VIEWS
Book a special event in Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art in connection with your staff party, staff excursion or other events. You will be met with a glass of champagne and an exclusive art experience with a member of our communication team or artists.
DURATION: One hour.
PARTICIPANTS: Maximum of 50 people
PRICE: 850 kr.
Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art launch audio guides in relation to our exhibitions and offer you the posibility to learn more about the exhibitions as well as listen to selected artists talk about their works of art. Download the audio guides of this website, transfer them to a MP3-player and bring them to the exhibition or borrow one from the reception.
