Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art’s special committee is selected to sit during a 4-year period: Den Frie Exhibition's board selects two of the association’s current members, and the Academy Board selects two more members. The Special Committee chooses it's own Head of Committee. The Special Committee consists of four artists as well as Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art’s direction and has the task to secure that Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art’s profile is reflected in the yearly exhibition program.
